Waxing is one of the most popular ways to temporarily remove unwanted hair. It is more effective than shaving because it removes hair from the root, not just from the skin’s surface. Over time, hair in waxed areas regrows lighter and sparser. The wax can be used on almost any part of the body as needed. 

Hygiene is of the utmost importance when performing a waxing treatment. We will always wear disposable gloves, pre-clean the treatment area, finishing the treatment with a body oil (to remove any sticky residue), hot towels (if appropriate – feels amazing on arms and legs!) and a light moisturising massage. Waxing FAQ's

  • Waxing can be slightly uncomfortable for some, however, most people find waxing relatively painless.

  • You should think about having a wax every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your hair regrowth cycle.

  • After a wax treatment we recommend you apply an antibacterial soothing lotion, avoid sun exposure, saunas and spas for the first 24-48 hours.

  • Exfoliating, using a loofah or body scrub starting a week after your wax. The removal of dead skin cells allows the new hair to grow through, therefore reducing the presence of ingrown hairs forming. Your skin will feel smoother, and your future wax treatments will be more effective.
